ARCHITECTURE

With its 19th century layout and originally a small palace, the building was home to the Alcobia Department Store and the Portuguese Catholic Broadcaster until it was designed into a hotel. In the refurbishment, the original façade was kept as well as the interior gained the nobility of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth. With lush spaces, full of details, fabrics and plants, the environment gains an “old” environment that takes you back to the late colonial atmosphere

ROOMS

With 87 rooms overlooking the city and the Tagus River, the careful atmosphere with decoration details dating back to the last century give the stay at The Ivens Hotel a stripped and refined comfort.
